Set within a circular, translucent pavilion, the piece follows a young girl’s journey into an imaginary world and combines aerial performance, hair suspension, and shadow theatre into an immersive 360° experience.
Light, shadow, and movement continuously reshape perception, transforming the space into a living canvas where silhouettes emerge and dissolve, and where the boundary between reality and imagination remains fluid.
During the residency at Dommelhof, I will focus on developing the interaction between aerial movement and shadow, refining scenes of transformation, and deepening the use of hair hanging within this visual environment. I will also use the atelier to build a turning circular platform, supporting the spatial dynamics and immersive quality of the piece. This residency will contribute to a more coherent integration of movement, scenography, and visual dramaturgy.
