CIE EA EO AT STUDIO DOMMELHOF

In April 2022, the French-Belgian circus company Cie Ea Eo was invited to Circuswerkplaats Dommelhof to work on Les Fauves: a manifesto for the juggling of the future. In a futuristic, inflatable tent they investigate what juggling can mean in the year 2022.

Besides a 'pop ritual' in the piste of this special tent, there is also a 'menagerie' where not animals but jugglers are locked up in isolation. During their residency in Dommelhof, they built the entire tent and stage construction for the very first time.

In our studio, they talk about the creation process of Les Fauves.

The images of the performance were made during a try-out in Dommelhof. The premiere is scheduled for September 2022.
