out of the blue

With the exhibition Out of the Blue, Side-Show focuses on their own studio. During a year that stumbled from lockdown to lockdown, Aline and Quintijn worked on visual work in the intimate surroundings of the studio in their garden. In a first period that ended with a small exhibition for a limited audience, the two artists worked only in blue. Today, that restriction no longer exists and they work in various media such as monotypes, cyanotypes and ink. Besides these autonomous works, they also show new visual work that resulted from the creation process for their next show Portraits.

Out of the Blue can be seen in the theatre building of Dommelhof from Saturday 8 May to Friday 4 June.
